Nancy J. Hayden
I am an artist, writer, organic farmer, and lifelong learner newly planted on the coast of Maine (Waldoboro). My husband and I recently sold our beautiful organic fruit farm and nursery, The Farm Between, and are starting a new adventure in gardening here called Northwind Gardens. I continue to make art and write (see my writer’s website – nancyjhayden.com) and give occasional ZOOM presentations related to our book, Farming on the Wild Side. have a variety of different degrees starting with a BS in forest biology, an MS and PhD in environmental engineering, a BA in studio art and English, and an MFA in creative writing. This diversity of interests and education has been wonderful to draw on for both my art and writing, and I never run out of ideas.
